44 P.I.T. Alumni on NBA Roster for 2026-27 Opening Night
October 28, 2026
The Portsmouth Invitational Tournament is well represented as the 2026-27 NBA season tips off. Forty-four P.I.T. alumni were on NBA rosters on opening night, a sizable jump from 37 at the start of last season. Since then, Enrique Freeman (Minnesota) and Sean Pedulla (Sacramento) have joined NBA rosters.
The 2026 P.I.T. class is already making its mark. Eleven players from this past April’s tournament earned roster spots, up from eight from the 2025 class a year ago.
