In 2006, a gifted little guard from Northeastern University came to Portsmouth, Virginia, to prove he could play with college basketball’s big boys in the Portsmouth Invitational Tournament. In three games at Churchland High School, all he did was record 41 assists, which still stands as the tournament record. In one game, he had 18 assists, another PIT record that stands to this day. Better yet, he committed only five turnovers all week for a spiffy 8.2 assist-to-turnover ratio. Read more here.
